2. Inactive Ingredients: Also known as excipients, these substances are used in the formulation of a drug but do not have therapeutic effects. They include fillers, binders, lubricants, preservatives, colouring agents, and flavourings.

3. Solvents: These are used to dissolve the active ingredients and facilitate the manufacturing process. Common solvents include water, ethanol, and various organic solvents.

5. Stabilizers: These are added to pharmaceutical formulations to prevent degradation of the active ingredients over time. Common stabilizers include antioxidants, chelating agents, and pH modifiers.

6. Lubricants: Lubricants are used to prevent sticking of the tablet material to the surfaces of the processing equipment during manufacturing. Examples include magnesium stearate and talc.

7. Disintegrants: These aid in the breakup of tablets or capsules in the gastrointestinal tract to facilitate drug release and absorption. Examples include croscarmellose sodium and starches.

8. Emulsifiers and Surfactants: These are used to stabilize emulsions and improve the solubility of poorly soluble drugs. Examples include polysorbates and sorbitan esters.

INDUSTRIES WE SERVE

MORE DETAILS BELOW.......

TEXTILES

Maize Starch is used in the textile industry to provide stiffness & to add weight to clothes. Our range of modified starches are extensively used in textile applications starting from yarn sizing to surface sizing of clothes. Our textile products have appropriate viscosity, penetration power and adequate coating efficiency. Our starch gives excellent performance on each applications.

ANIMAL NUTRITION

We have a variety of our products which is already being used in animal nutrition supplements such as; Dextrose monohydrate, a simple sugar derived from corn, is commonly used in animal nutrition for various reasons:

1. Energy Source: Dextrose provides a readily available source of energy for animals, particularly during periods of high metabolic demand, such as growth, lactation, or stress.

2. Palatability: Animals often find dextrose palatable, which can encourage the consumption of feed or water when mixed with it.

Dextrose anhydrous can be used in animal nutrition as a source of quick energy for animals. It’s a form of glucose, a simple sugar, which can be easily absorbed and utilized by animals for various metabolic processes. In livestock feed, it can be included to provide energy during periods of stress, such as weaning or transportation, or to balance the energy content of the diet. However, like with any ingredient, it’s important to consider the overall nutritional composition of the feed and the specific needs of the animals.

PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRY

We export pharmaceutical-grade starches of IP & BP grades for several applications like tablet manufacturing, coating and capsule covering amongst others. We were exporting all over the world from India of life-saving drugs such as Dextrose Anhydrous. IP/BP Dextrose Anhydrous is a basic raw material for glucose saline injection which prevents dehydration in critical conditions like excessive blood loss, diarrhoea, heat stroke and post-surgery conditions where oral administration is not possible.

PAPER AND GYPSUM

Maize Starch is used in the paper industry for sizing as well as to increase the paper's strength. The purpose of size press application is to improve the appearance and erasability of ink penetration and form a hard firm surface for writing or Printing, to produce surface fiber picking, and to prepare the sheet for subsequent coating. Corn Starch is used as an adhesive in pigmented coating for paper and paper board.

FUNCTIONAL INGREDIENTS

We have a variety of native and modified starch products that act as functional intermediates for food, textile, paper, and foundry industries. Our Sorbitol acts as a functional intermediate for paint manufacturing, drug & pharmaceutical manufacturing, and cosmetics & toiletry products manufacturing. Gum Arabic is used widely in the flavouring industry whereas our spray-dried powders have applications in seasoning mixes, confectionary, ready-to-drink soup mixes and nutraceutical powders.
